Wow! Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo was an amazing adventure for me and my family. We went in the fall, because there is something special about seeing pumpkins, the fall leaves, hot cider, and cool air that makes being in Michigan amazing!

There is so much to see and experience at this farm and zoo. Their map shows all the different things and it made sense for us to start near the entrance where we parked, and work our way around the main path. We started our adventure with the pirate ship that kids can climb on. There are several climbing opportunities for kids throughout the farm. My kids love it! We then made our way to the corn maze. My 8-year-old and 3-year old had no problem running through it and made it out! Next is a cool open farm building where there are games like skee ball, baseball throw, and bean bag toss.
The burlap slide was pretty neat. Next to the slides, are little cabins for the kids to play and explore. There are many photo taking opportunities throughout the farm. On the weekends they have apple and pumpkin cannons which look so cool, but we couldn’t do that event when we were there. There is a spider web climb and a sand pit to play in. Our game fun ended with the pedal carts and jumping pillows. Then we were on to see all the animals. They have 25 or more kinds of animals to see outdoors and indoors. The exotic animals and parakeets are in a special building designed for them. The bird house has parakeets and you can feed the parakeets by holding a stick with their favorite food. Beware that when entering the parakeet area, they flock toward you thinking you have food and are so used to people. One even landed on my head!!! That was a great experience.

We then ended our enjoyable time at the farm with lunch (which they have a outdoor pavilion for eating) and treats from the gift shop. They have such yummy things to buy and great toys and gifts, so come prepared! This was an amazing family outing and great for all ages. You won’t be disappointed!!
